Voice Overs

Our group went at the apartment of our Technical Specialist, Jonathan, for the post-editing of the video. We fixed the background music and the voice overs. Unfortunately, voice overs are not that clear enough to be heard because of the loud background music. We thought not to include background music in our voice overs anymore. But it's kind of boring without music, so we will just try to fix the audio matters later.

Video

Our group will not be interviewing the Department of Energy anymore because of schedule conflicts. Therefore, we are already finished with the expert interviews/shooting. What we need to do now is to deal on our video for the documentary film. Jonathan, our technical specialist, has already started making a video wherein he compiled all of the videos, animations and pictures we had collected. He used different softwares in editing the pictures and videos. We will just completely edit the whole video after the Preliminary examinations.

Another thing that we have to deal on is with the audio matters. We need to have the voice overs for video editing. We already talked about it and we will be doing it right after the Preliminary examinations. As soon as the voice overs are finish, we will be editing our video using our preferred video editing software. Hopefully, we can finish the video editing on the weekend before the week of deadline.

KEPHILCO

We resume our video shooting and expert interview this day of the month, since all of the power plants were closed last Christmas vacation. After classes, we went straight to Kepco Philippines Corporation (KEPHILCO) Malaya Thermal Plant at Pililla, Rizal. We just planned to pass the letter of request for the interview, but since we have gone so far to go there, we also tried to take our chances to have the interview with them afterwards.

We were accompanied by Mariv's brother again and the one with an access at KEPHILCO who Mariv had a contact with last time we went there, Dr. Paz. Arriving at the power plant at around 4 in the afternoon, we inquired at the guard house and asked if we could have the interview immediately. But then again, we failed to do so. The employees in the power plant are already leaving as we arrived. We should have gone there earlier. And again, we were not allowed to take video shots in and outside the power plant. Daren only took stolen video shots outside the power plant, so that at least, we can have something to add on our video. Since the employees are already leaving, they asked us to reset the schedule for the interview and go there as earlier as we can.

However, we are planning not to continue the interview and shooting in a power plant since they are very strict in allowing us to take even a shot or two of their location. We are just waiting for the Department of Energy (DOE) for the rescheduling of the expert interview. Hopefully, they will answer everything that we had prepared for them to finish our video shooting immediately.
